This is a notebook kept by Tommy in which he records
the names and stag times of the guard, the equipment which was to be
carried/checked and the early calls and other specific actions to be
done by the guard.
Of particular interest is that the Sgt named is Sgt John( Mucky) Mason DCM, the Ghost gunner of Cassino, and that one of the guard is named Stott, highly likely to be Alan Stott's father. Tommy also reminds himself that at 0700 hrs the Flag must be raised! |
