12th Bn
XX The
Lancashire Fusiliers

About 8 weeks ago I was contacted by a gentleman called Don Rhodes who had just returned from Greece on a holiday, the last time he went he drove past the Bralo British War Cemetery and when he got home he did a large amount of research on the Cemetery and found that there was a Fusilier buried their, Private Samual Pemberton who died 07th Oct 1918.
During our monthly meeting it was agreed to get a wreath for him to take back to Greece and lay it at the grave of Private Pemberton, Don who has done all the attached research kindly and proudly did lay the Wreath as you can see on the last page of the attached.
I would just like to thank Don for going out of his way to honor not just the Fusilier as you will see in the attached but all that are buried at this cemetery.
From the Bury Branch and the Lancashire Fusilier web site thank you Don
